Salima Hassas

Salima Hassas

Salima Hassas is Full Professor in Computer Sciences at University Claude Bernard Lyon 1. She has coordinated the ANR Labcom Behaviors.ai (2017-2020) on developmental approaches for Social Robotics and is currently PI of the Ethics.ai (AURA Pack Ambition Recherche 2018-2022) on Learning Ethical behaviours by Autonomous Agents. She has also coordinated partnerships with companies (UBIANT, Orange Labs, Hoomano, Naver Labs) and participated in collaborative projects (IFSTTAR) on topics related to “Socially Intelligent ICT Systems” mixing humans and autonomous agents, where developmental learning and Social Artificial Intelligence approaches are investigated.

Heike Baldauf-Quillatre

Heike Baldauf-Quilliatre is an Associate Professor in German Linguistics at University Lumière Lyon 2. She has coordinated together with colleagues projects in conversation analysis and interactional linguistics, mostly related to gaming interaction and technological devices. She also participates in collaborative projects exploring innovative methodologies and complexity of interaction (BODEGA, INTERJEUX). Her expertise is in the field of multimodal interaction analysis, particularly in interactions with technological devices, stance taking and the construction of participation frameworks.

Frédéric Armetta is an Associate Professor at University Claude Bernard Lyon 1. He is an expert in developmental approaches using neural network architectures and deep learning. He is also knowledgeable in Natural Language Processing (NLP).

Pentti Haddington is Professor of English language in the Research Unit for Languages and Literature at the University of Oulu, Finland. He is also director for GenZ and one of the PIs in the COACT community. He is interested in how participants talk, use their bodies and other multimodal resources as part of their everyday social activities. He is currently doing research and leading funded projects on talk and multimodal interaction in digital and technological settings, interactional multitasking and multinational crisis management training.

Carole Etienne is a CNRS Research Engineer. Her expertise is situated in the fields of multimodal databases and modeling interactions in terms of pragmatics and verbal/multimodal resources. She also leads different projects concerning the learning of French with the help of interactions.

She has been working on fundamental communication practices in different languages. Antoine Bouquin is an R&D Engineer on a temporary contract for the CNRS. He works for the LIRIS lab in the SyCoSMA team. He is charged with the task of developing the initial Pepper Software, that will be used for the rest of the PepperMint project.
